My daughter loves this kit! She isn’t quite finished, but almost! This is her third kit from this company, and they all have turned out beautifully. When she finishes, her projects look just like the pictures on the boxes—the company really equips you to make these rooms exactly as they are pictured. The kit is rated for 14+, but my daughter is eleven and is able to create these on her own. I think more than age, interest and patience are the qualities that will determine whether a young person can complete these. The instructions are filled with by step by step pictures. Putting these together is more about following pictorial instructions than reading. My daughter says if you are just beginning, the “Because of You” bedroom kit is a good place to start. This kit uses watch-size batteries—we stole some from an old light up gadget that was stuffed in a drawer.

This was my first time doing something like this but now I'm addicted and have more on the way.All pieces were accounted for and none were broken. Great quality from my perspective. The directions didnt really have explainations but the pictures were easy enough to understand. The only difficulty is how tiny everything is.I reccomend buying a small crafting toolkit as this didn't come with the greatest tools.

Nice product but decals are not stickers. One thing I wished I knew, since you have to cut out the paper and stick it on, resulting in messy lines if you slip.
