Everything came as pictured. The inside of the tub smelled some probably due to toxic plastic and the bags the sand came in had some small holes which was disappointing, but the sand itself is super relaxing and you are going to want to have a place to play with it. Having the inflatable bin keeps things neater. It feels like it's moving in your hand once the mold (the tightly molded sand after using a mold or squeezing in your hand). I cannot comment on it drying out because I keep it stored in the container it comes in. Definitely a better value than individual sand purchases. The colors in the picture are definitely not as bright in person.
