Quality/sturdy unit
Bought seven after checking out one to see if the guts were all there. At this price and 2100J with a center screw this is a bargain.Yes, it actually has all the surge parts inside of it. This is the unit I need instead of surge strips everywhere like snakes on the floor. No way to test it and all UL does is allow their sticker on it with a pencil whip for testing and maybe a design review (money making deal at best). Only independent test sites actually do a test of electronics with their complete functionality when they do a complete review. That's why I bought one and then the rest. Also Amazon has a free return policy for 30 days with Prime.Wish there was a way to test the J rating without frying the unit.Do not depend on UL ratings as many faulty products have slipped through their process (several other UL rated brands have caught on fire). Read user reviews and test it if you can in real life.

Nice high capacity for many applications, has limitations for other applications
Very Nice high-capacity for many applications, yet it has limitations for other applications. The two concerns are1) There is only one plug, not two, so electrically this might be fine, but manufacture other units with two plugs are more stable. On the other hand, one plug is much safer if you want to put this on the end of an extension cord for some odd reason, but that is not what it is made for.2) When screwing it in, the back is totally flat, so that may leave a gap between the wall plate and the receptacle, allowing a paper to slip in easily behind the unit which could cause a short or fire. On the other hand, if you want this on the end of extension cord it would be safe. Some other manufacture units have a recessed back that doesn't have this problem.

Great multiplier for your wall outlet
This takes 2 wall outlets and turns them into 9. Pretty small, so large power adapters and plugs will take up more than the space for one outlet, but you can easily put 2 adapters on top and 2 adapters on bottom and still have 3 plugs in the middle for normal sized electric cords. I also like that it comes with a center screw to hold it in place. Saves the hassle of accidentally unplugging the whole thing when unplugging one cord. I recommend this to anyone needing a compact neat outlet extender and the price was very reasonable.

Excellent product, works very, very well
The review form here asked about it’s wifi signal. What it has to do with wifi I have no clue. But to expand a wall outlet from 2 receptacles to nine it’s fantastic. I’m using one as a charging station for all my rechargeable gadgets like iphone, flashlights, and blue tooth portable music speaker. The other i used to plug in the computer, printer, scanner, computer speakers and an answering machine, eliminating the power strip collecting dust on the floor. It comes with a screw that fits perfectly where the outlet face cover plate screw is to hold it firmly in place so you don’t accidentally unplug everything plugged into it when you have to unplug one of your devices from it.

It costs a little more but provides more access to electricity
UPDATE (May 14, 2021):When I took apart the Adapter, I found that all of the outlets are connected to the surge circuit board. The image on the page for this product show that the circuit board is present but not connected to ANY outlet. Also, the circuit board that is shown is upside down.My second adapter was bought April 5, 2021, and now the item is no longer available at Amazon: "Currently unavailable. We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock."My only complaint is that the adapter does not sit flush with the wall.Original Review (December 21, 2020):Since I have several items that are plugged into a wall outlet that has a 6-outlet adapter, and I have to unplug something when I want to use another electrical appliance, this enable me to leave devices plugged in and avoid all the swapping. Not everything is used at the same time, so this is perfect.

Wish It Would Lie Flatter
First of all I can appreciate all of the outlets this gives me in the kitchen where I placed it. It is nice that it has a surge protector, not all of these things have that. But my only quibble is with the overall look and stability. If it had an addition prong for the lower outlet like many of these feature it would add additional stability. But more importantly for me, I wish the area in the back where the prongs are was just slightly recessed, say about the depth of your average outlet cover. That way when you plugged the unit in the whole thing could lie flat against the wall giving it even more stability and making it more pleasing to the eyes (no gap along the outside edges).

With frequent power outages I am glad to have this -- ONE PLUG on the back
You will want to use the SCREW included to hold the WEIGHT of all the plugsIt seems to be doing okay with the three I have in it without the screw -- which I dropped and now I don't know where it is.so far so good :) we had a partial power grid failure just last week -- flashing on and off over 20 times for about 15 minutes -- scary -- I yanked the entire thing out of the wall because that is where my expensive PC and Laser printer were plugged in, plus my kindle recharging -- high $$$ stuff --glad I had this!!CONS -- I would prefer TWO PLUGS, no one on the back of it for added stabilityPROS -- really good price, fast shipping, good packaging

Sturdy and durable...ETC.!
This item doesn't even give off any heat after you plug it in, and there is plenty of room for other furniture items to neighbor it (pretty good space-saver, to say the very least!).As for the included screw for additional in-socket security: Not necessarily a must, as the unit itself is quite sturdy overall. It's up to you if you want to screw in the add-on. I would like at least one more of these protectors for my house!
