Our hot water heater died, killing our ability to shower for a little over 48hrs. This portable shower with a 5 gallon bucket allowed us to shower just like normal. Hose length was perfect, the ability to clamp on to the side of the bucket without additional tools was a huge plus, and the water pressure was excellent for a portable shower. Granted, this means that you go through water faster, but we were still able to take a shower on a 5 gallon of water easily and almost like normal.This was only after one use, we will see how it works going forward. We plan to use for bathing the dog outside and fun water time with our kid.The only con we found was that the hoses are very flexible to the fault that the output hose coming off the pump needed to be supported as to not kink and stop water flow. A small PVC pipe placed over the hose at this point is what I will use going forward, but a toilet paper roll and hair clip worked just fine (as it was all that could be reached from the shower at the time).

Following the directions I attached the hoses and tried this out at home before a planned camping trip. It is advertised as pumping up to 7' in height. I could not get it to pump for than 1-2' above the water pail. It was fully charged as indicated by the blue light. I will try and return to Zanmax, should have tried it out right away since returning now could be difficult.Update: I reported the issue directly to Zanmax; they requested a short video of the issue. After they received the video, Zanmax took steps to send me a new unit. Their email responses were timely. I tested the new unit the day after arrival. It pumped as advertised and they stood behind their product. Upgrading this to 3 stars and will review again after using it multiple times.

I use it to shower at camp. Before I was using a solar bag and it wasn't bad but it only held a 2-3 gallons of water (which is heavy to lift high enough, and the water flow was sufficient but not much. Now I fill a 5 gallon bucket with hot water and place it on a block at the bottom of the shower, place the pump on the bench next to it and hang the shower head on the wall. The water pressure is very good! It is easy to turn on and off (though I have to worry about some splashing of water on it), and 5 gallons is plenty enough for a good camp shower. Of course, I could have two buckets if I wanted. So far I've only used it twice so I can't speak about how long the charge lasts, but I'm very happy with everything so far.

I read all the reviews and questions prior to purchasing this and felt it was well regarded and a good choice. When it first arrived I found no directions in the package, but was able to figure out the device easily. I plugged it in to charge, and although it says 4-5 hours it took far longer to get the blue light. We received this on the 5th and by the 10th it was dead. We used it a couple of times and loved it. Shower head pressure was amazing!! Worked great. On the 10th I got up to plug it in to charge, today is the 12th, as of today it still has not charged. It will not come on at all. I have tried different USB adapters in hopes I had used one that was bad, finally moving it to a wall outlet with a USB socket. I was hopeful with so many loving the product that I would not be one of the ones that had a device that was subpar.In the interest of fairness I am asking for a replacement and to return the defective one. I believe that sometimes there are defects that cannot be seen. I will give them another chance. If I have more success with the replacement I will edit my review to reflect that as well, it is only fairSo, I received the 2nd unit. Charged great. It was used twice and it is no longer working,. It appears that water running through the device is leaking into the device itself. It no longer works. I could not recommend this. It is not waterproof. It was not attached to the water source, but separate. Made sure of that. I am returning and looking for a company that advertises waterproof and delivers what they advertise. I am very very unhappy

Seriously this thing works terrific while dry camping this was all I ad for any means to stay clean and shockingly it worked so good I was able to take showers over the weekend of camping. The hose fits down into the jug of water and the shower head either hang off something it also has a suction cup to hang it. I highly recommend this for anyone that needs a way to shower where you aren't close to any place that has actual showers in the area.

We went camping with it! Much easier than using a bag system that you have to warm first, then hang. We just put fire-warmed water in a bucket and boom, shower.

I bought this for the shower that has no cold water because of corroded pipes. Instead of scalding myself with just the hot water, I place a buck of tepid water in the shower and use the pump. (Cheaper than a $1,000 plumbing repair.) The water force is not strong, but not weak either. If you like long, leisurely showers, this is not for you. Unless you have an unlimited water supply, the pump will go thru even a large bucket of water in about five minutes or less. You'll have just enough time to lather up and rinse off (unless you turn off the pump in between.) The battery takes a long time to recharge thru a computer USB port (no electric plug charge). I'm satisfied with it for my Spartan purposes, but next time I would get a pump that uses regular batteries and can be emerged in the water.

This is an excellent product except for one minor detail. The Shower Head attachment for the feeder hose will not hold. The feeder hose has a little plastic insert that feeds into the attachment ring on the Shower head. With my product, these two items "don't share the love " and refuse "to bond". So...........I have ordered some KISS super glue from Amazon in hopes that this will the problem (pun intended). I would have give 5 stars otherwise.

Works well so far, good battery life. Only critique would be the rounded design makes it hard to free stand the pump, but other than that, excellent value for money.

It's a good quality product.
