Size:Тwo Рack Tech M Magnesium supplement is a ionically balanced product which will safely raise the magnesium level in any marine system without upsetting the ionic balance of the system. Tech M is very concentrated, containing over 70,000 ppm of cationic magnesium, and is nitrate, phosphate and gluconate free. If you have trouble maintaining calcium or buffer level, check to see that the salt mix you are using has seawater level of magnesium. To save money and increase dissolvability, some manufacturers of popular newer salts have included only half the level of magnesium necessary in their sea salt mixes, resulting in low calcium solubility and poor buffering. Tech M Magnesium supplement will provide the magnesium left out by salt manufacturers or increase the magnesium level in any system. This will provide for easier maintenance of alkalinity (buffering capacity) and calcium level.

brought my Mg back to correct levels.
I ordered a Salifert Mg test kit to verify my levels. As I had suspected, my Mg was low. I supplemented per the instructions and noticed my corals seemed happier the next day. I have also noticed that my coralline algae is now growing faster. I supplemented for a couple of days and my Mg levels have been normal since, which I think are now easier to maintain through normal water changes since the levels aren't too low. I suggest you go easy and test. Through my research Mg levels should be about 3X your Ca levels. Great product.

Easy to use, very clear instructions
Kent is the brand I use for all the chems I dose; It is also what my LFS uses.PROS: Easy to use (no mixing like with the powdered stuff), was able to fix a major imbalance after only a week, you can use less than recommended to keep things in check for day-forward dosing.CONS: Tech M maxes out at 1350ppm for magnesium, which I know some reefers consider to be the minimum for their tank, but it is fine for my reef which is mostly LPS.If you have a larger tank (75G+), I would highly recommend getting a jug or multiple bottles of Tech M, as you will go through it rather quickly.

works like a charm in ridding your tank of bryopsis
works like a charm in ridding your tank of bryopsis. i raised my mag from 1400 to 2100 over a week and after another week all my bryopsis disappeared. i kept the raised mag for 2 more months. make sure to do this otherwise your bryopsis will come back. also make sure to take out carbon and any other chemical filtration you may have. GFO or phosguard is fine.

I would not recommend.
This brand did not work well for me. I won’t be buying it again. I’ve had a reef tank for 3 yrs and when using this product I could never get my magnesium right.
