This would be great for medium to larger cichlids, barbs and rainbows
Fish love them and they don’t cloud the water . This is high quality company anyway. They look more like a granule but a little larger . Float for a minute( depends on water flow - mine is high-) then slowly sink , not plummeting like a asteroid to earth. More than I expected . This would be great for rainbow fish, smaller to medium cichlids including Angelfish, medium to larger barbs . Corycat love it .Angelfish is picky and lazy , but will eat it if she doesn’t have to chase it too far ( she’s also fat with eggs ) . It’s a lot that’s why I said it would be good for rainbows ect , depending on how many you could feed 3times a day for a while before having to buy more.

Never seen fish freak out like this over dry food!
My Platies, white cloud minnows, corydoras, betta, and gouramis can eat these, no problem. They are way too big for my Phoenix Rasboras (same size as chili Rasboras). I read that you can crumble them in the product description, but they don't crumble easily. You need to use your nails and a hard surface to break them into small enough pieces for these tiny species. That being said, every fish FREAKED OUT when I put the Bug Pro in the tanks. They gobbled it immediately. I feed them a very varied diet, and I think this might be their new favorite. I will crush up a portion in the mortar and pestle for the tiny fish for ease of feeding.

Great, Clean Protien Source
Initially received this product as an add on for an aquarium shrimp order. Both omnivorous fish and shrimp love this food. Quality ingredients, outstanding results in the health and coloring of the livestock. I truly credit this food for the robust breeding results. The product was packaged well and arrived in a timely fashion. Zero complaints and will definitely purchase again in 6-8 months.

The Fish Love It!
When I sprinkle a pinch of this food in the tank the fish go crazy eating it as fast as they can. Doesn't cloud the water, but then it's not floating around long enough to do that.Very happy with this product.

Natural attractant, too large for many smaller fish!
I prefer a smaller size granual because I am a keeper of relatively smaller size that have small upturned mouths (top minnows). The larger size granuals take time to soften enough for consumption but are eaten nevertheless. Overall, the product is very good and nutrient dense enough for the nutritional needs of my breeding colonies.

I mean if you know your fish are going to eat it why not give it a try.
I can’t blame anything on the product I’m sure it’s good but I have two different tanks of tropical fish and I can’t find a single fish to eat them. So I technically wasted my money

Liked by many fish & young axolotls
I use this to feed a variety of fish and young small axolotls. They are small enough for many different sizes mouths but not too small.

2mm crisps vs 2mm pellets
Love the NorthFin brand. I feed my African Cichlids a mixture of BugPro, Cichlid, and veggie formulas. All are 2mm which is on the smaller side for my 3-7inch peacocks/haps. The bug pro 2mm "crisps" are about half the size of the 2mm pellets. I will definitely need to buy 3mm pellets on my next order.

Bug Pro makes a splash
The media could not be loaded. On a friend's recommendation, I snagged a jar of this food, and the baby Lemon Pleco's went on a feeding frenzy. They don't leave much behind and should bulk up fast to start selling some. The 250g size is more than enough to feed a few batches. Good thing the bonded pair have gone into a cave AGAIN together! This food seems to be well-liked by all my Plecos and Boesemani Rainbows.
