This went way past my expectations super excited to get out and get that line wet feels very durable pieces are metal not plastic cheaply made everything about it adds up to my expensive ones I highly recommend this or if all the reels and rods are like this one and the other one that I’ve gotten from them I just highly recommend the brand

This combo is superb I got it on Monday and had it on the lake by Tuesday took pictures same day to show it off. Caught a good size small mouth bass on it and I have to say it has a good time with some wacky rigs or Texas rigged plastics or live worm baits got some good hits on it. Sensitivity is good you can feel when the fish tap at it just gotta have ur drag set right on the reel. Reel is good as well has some fair amount of weight to it not in a bad way to the point where it makes u feel confident it’s not going to break on you if you really hammer on it. During my trip the rod did not colapse on me and I mention this because this is what I was the most worried about and I did not have a problem reeling in the fish. Overall very happy with the purchase because now I can always keep this bad boy in the back of the truck next to the tackle set and I’ll be good to go fishing at a moments notice very compact, easy to store, convince is unmatched would definitely buy again if I had to.

This rod and reel combo is an awesome idea for any angler who might be traveling for work or leisure. The reel is a perfect size for most freshwater and inshore saltwater fishing. The rod comes in several sizes but I found this 1.8m just the right size, it's about 6'4" extended. I've fished a few ponds from the bank, the lake from a boat, and along the creek by my house. I was able to land a 4.5lb bass with no problem and the reel drag was pretty impressive. I recommend this combo for anyone who loves to fish and travel.

I like it easy compact for travel and extends to about 7 feet caster looks nice and has smooth action with locking switch on the bottom

I purchased this product after purchasing lures from this company that I was pleased with. I bought this for times that my 7' Ugly Stick just didn't make sense to transport - vacations and other times our family van is packed full. The telescoping action is good - it truly is only about a foot and a half when collapsed. Assembly is very quick - pull out the segments and align them, unscrew the nuts on the handle, insert the reel, and tighten. I would say compared to my medium action Ugly Stick of the same length, this is probably more of a medium light action - strong, but more flex.I does have a couple minor imperfections - the guides aren't perfect, and it would be better if there was more grip on the handle. But for the price, it can't be beat - you'd be paying that for a basic beginner rod and reel, and this definitely has more features and feels higher quality at the same price point. I haven't had a chance to take it out yet, but I'm looking forward it next time I go on vacation. Definitely a worthy addition as a travel combo, and for many people, as their primary setup.

If you want a rod and reel combo for kayak fishing, this is def it. This folds down to maybe just over a foot long making it ideal for when I fish on my sit-on-top kayak. I can store it in the hull easily or transport it in my truck/golf cart more conveniently than a full length rod which doesnt collapse. The 3000 reel is also exactly what i was looking for.

This is the most convenient fishing rod setup that i have. The reel is nice and smooth and cast good. I really like the quick fold handle on the reel to make storing in the car a little easier. The rod is really good and casts really well. I wish they could come up with a way to key the rod so when you extend the guides would line up perfect every time. Another thing that would be nice would be to add a hook keeper so you have a place to hook the hook.I will update as time goes on if i have any problems with the reel or the rod but overall i would recommend to anyone that would want a fishing rod setup to leave in the car to fish whenever you are by a lake or river.

So far it has been a great product. The poll is very solid with great action on the tip and the reel is very smooth with a reasonable return speed. I like that it's interchangeable between left and right handed also. I really can't find a problem with it yet.
