KRQ 1/2" black double-threaded pre-cut steel tube, connected to standard 1/2-inch Pipefittings for DIY steampunk racks and vintage furniture projects (18 inch)

could not use this product. it does NOT fit 1/2 inch cast iron pipe fittings for standard plumbing. these seem to be made out of some kind of lightweight aluminium......or something ?? DUNNO ?? pipe has a really good finish for the price. if you got the entire line from this manufacturer i'm sure it would work well for like purely decorative uses. as it sits i cannot endorse this product for use as 1/2 inch black pipe.i am in the process of returning this purchase.
