Amazing that it works pretty good for such a low priced gadget. It takes a little getting use to. But, once you can get it in position within the focus point (if you can and able hold it still) the pictures are pretty clear. The ear canal is pretty tough since it curves. It helps if you first point the camera at something you can see and move the camera up and down so you can ensure it's orientation in your hand is correct.The USB camera was detected by my Windows 10 computer without additional software.My android phone (Moto X) worked with the Apps downloaded from the sellers website. I installed all 3 APKs on the phone. I only started the camera app on the phone and it worked and have no idea what the other 2 apps do.UPDATE: the camera just died after about 4 or 5 times using. Sending it back for replacement.

I received this ear camera the other day, very quick next day shipping....the camera was easy to set up, I have a digital microscope from the same company and already had the software down loaded on my computer, so all I had to do was plug this camera in the USB port and I was good to go..it takes a little getting use to handling the camera for focusing and getting the view you want, but in short time you get the hang of it, you can use this camera for looking at anything in small tight spots..not just ears..if your working on any project with hidden spaces ,now you can see them and at magnification.the camera comes with a light that is adjustable and lets you see in any dark areas, alos the camera came with a bunch of slide on plastic scoops to gather earwax or to move what you are looking at through the camera depending what you are using it for...I would recommend this little camera , as it has many other uses than just looking into your ear.......the posted pictures are of my eye, you can see the second picture is the corner of my eye and you can see the blood vessels very clear..I used a digital camera to take a picture of my computer screen, so the original image is clearer than the picture...

This is a very nice otoscope. All I had to do was to plug it into my Win10 laptop's USB port. I didn't have to install anything. I started Window's Camera app and that was all it took to get started. Quality of picture and video is very clear. The light intensity of the six tiny LEDs are adjustable. All the details of the product are in the description, so I won't repeat those.This unit can be used for checking details on the skin, nails, and more. If you have a wood splinter, this can magnify the area to remove the splinter. So, it is not just useful for ears and nostrils/nasal passages. You can see everything in your ears and your nostrils you never knew they existed. If you want to use it for your own ears, you don't need the help of someone else. It is a one-hand operation otoscope. Even if I don't want to clean my own ears after I see the condition of them with this otoscope, at least I know when I need to have an office visit.I have attached a couple of pictures of skin and nail so you see the clarity of the pictures.Great value for the money.

For creating a small thumbnail picture to post in review here, 720p is good enough resolution, but to truly see what's inside the ear canal, you want at least 1080P or higher. The picture quality is grainy at best, and turning up the brightness of the LED is helpful, but it also increases the temperature at the tip. Overall, this is decent quality for a twenty something camera that you can use to look into tight spaces.

Everything about this product worked great. I was suffering from an intermittent tinnitus. I couldn't get a doctor appointment for 2 weeks. With the scope I was able to see it was just wax build up. My only complaint was I had to use a third party software on my phone.

For the price, I would definitely recommend this product. The camera and picture quality is very good. Only downfall is the difficulty of trying to use this on an iPhone, the software program isn’t compatible. Had success using it on my husband’s Samsung.

This worked well. It takes some time to get used to and to get things in focus. There is no feature to focus on your own so you just have to move it around, but overall, I am pleased.

I don't know why all of these otoscopes only last for about 3 months, then quit getting recognized by the phone. The wire becomes loose and becomes useless.

Met dit apparaat heb ik kunnen zien en op video vastgelegd dat ik een ernstig geperforeerd trommelvlies heb met flink wat ontstekingen er omheen, waarschijnlijk chronisch. Al zo lang als ik me kan herinneren (30 jaar) heb ik problemen met mijn linkeroor, gehoorverlies, ontstekingen, etc. Meerdere huisartsen konden het trommelvlies e.d. niet (goed) zien, waarschijnlijk vanwege ontstekingen en omdat het trommelvlies zo onherkenbaar vervormd is. Nadat de ergste acute ontsteking weg was (voor de zoveelste keer oordruppels) daarna weinig mee gedaan omdat de arts het ook niet wist. Mogelijk speelt ook mee dat het pijn doet als de arts kijkt, nu kan ik zelf rustig een filmpje maken. Hopelijk dat het probleem nu gerichter en definitief kan worden behandeld.Het duurde overigens wel even om het beeld scherp te krijgen (tip: verlichting op maximaal). Alleen objecten vlak voor de camera zijn scherp. Ook de bediening moet je even onder de knie krijgen. Daarna doet het wat het moet doen.Een aanrader bij oorproblemen, zeker voor dit geld.

I was disappointed in the picture quality, but i was maybe expecting too much for such a low priced item.Seller is very good.

The device works well, though the LED light does heat up and can be uncomfortable within the ear channel.
