These offer a great sound for ballads. If you've got a need for something more subtle than the usual nylon or wood tip mallet sound, these will probably do it. It's worth it to buy a pair to keep in your stick bag just so you have the option.

Great sticks for building your chops. My son uses these to increase his speed on his marching tenors. Really likes them and they have held up to more than their fair share of rim hits.

Best sticks on the market

Bought for my son. He plays tenors in his high schoolmarching band. He was happy with it overall. He mentioned the mallet heads bounced easier and it felt better to hold while playing. Cons sticks felt a little short. Could be an issue for some people.

Great all around product. Good for sweeps and playing through the head. Needs tape or the rimshots will sound funky.
