English Fluency for Advanced English Speaker: How to Unlock the Full Potential to Speak English Fluently

This book is an effort from the author which shall be appreciated because it has covered almost every aspect fluency. The book addresses the fear and myths that limit people from being a fluent speaker such as the age and not being able to visit and English speaking country. I loved the method of S.M.A.R.T. goals setting, it really could bring a positive impact. The author has given some great tips like not spending a lot of time on Grammar in the beginning, I agree with this. Learner shall first learn phrases and conversation, so that he feels confident about speaking and then he/she can continue leaning grammar on the way. The methods are great and have been made to work. The start is when you start taking action!

I had a bit bigger expectations, but I did found a couple of interesting things. This is not a book for advanced English speakers.

A lot of good points to support me to think in English, easy to read and understand easily. I love to read it again and again, I was wondering how the author created this book for people like me feel Fluency after I read the whole book.I hope this feeling not just for I read it, also in a social situation, hehe

I was lured by the title of this booklet, but its contents could have been summarized in maximum 5 pages. They are repeated over and over again for no other reason than making the book look longer. The author holds some highly subjective views, such as the extreme difficulty of plurals in English (what about German or Latin, not to mention Greek or Arabic?) or the fact that the most common idiom in English is "a piece of cake" (on what basis? A frequency dictionary?). A waste of money: like pouring money down the drain, to use an idiom.

It is a very well written and right to the point book. I am so glad I purchased it on the Amazon. It gives a great insight of how to speak fluently and reveals the tricks of it. The topics cover all the subjects I am looking for and addressess all the key points to speak fluently. ​I higly recommend it.

Imagine yourself speaking to a Native American or a friend who speaks well than you, you might find yourself struggling to express yourself the way they do and you wish your English command is as good as theirs -- I felt that way, too! So I’m just like thrilled when I found this book and read it. It literally became my new friend. The strategies and methods introduced are actually useful and effective. I tried doing the “shadowing” and the so-called scriptorium methods during my personal English communication practice. It feels awesome and I know I have been improving since then!

Very easy to read, not a lot of pages but all relevant, the author tell us things that are not mentioned anywhere else and/or in your typical english course book. It puts you in the right mindset, I highly recommend it in support of other language learning initiative

Cet ouvrage est remarquable d'abord par l'optimisme qu'il transmet au lecteur en apprentissagle de l'anglais. Beaucoup de bons conseils (souvent bien évidents). Un des conseils est de lire un livre anglais à voix haute. C'est ce livre qu'il faut lire ainsi : il fourmille de mots à prononciation dificile pour un non encore anglophone, ainsi que d'expressions propres à cette langue.
