ZILU Universal Car Phone Mount, Cell Phone Holder for Dashboard and Windshield, Car Accessories for iPhone 7 Plus 6s Plus SE Samsung-Retail Packaging

I've tried this both in my car and in my work truck. It holds my iphone 6s in a stable fashion while in it's case and the angle doesn't change when I go over a bump. I've only used it attached to the windshield, not the dashboard. The combination of a sticky material on the bottom and it being a suction cup is very sturdy, you almost wish for a screwdriver to release it. The sides grip the phone securely and the fold out wings on the bottom add an extra measure of security. It does not fit a 7" tablet, but I didn't expect it to. The one button release works well.

The product works great. It stays on the windshield and does not fall off. The swivel feature works great. Easy to use and install. The only thing I did not like about the product is that the suction cup is sticky. It does not leave a residue when moved, but the stickiness of the suction cup makes it a little difficult if you need to move or remove it. Needless to say, you will never have to worry about it falling off the windshield. It is completely secure.Update: Had it 4 months and it broke where the holder meets the ball joint. Do not recommend for long term use.

I needed a phone mount for my car and didn't want to spend a lot of money. I saw the good reviews on this and decided to give it a try.Pro:1) One push and it'll stick on the dash on my car.2) Nice padding for my phone so it won't scratch.3) One button in the back to unlock the phone and easily take out. Push the two side to lockCon:1) It does shake a bit when driving. I'm not sure if others are like this but it's not a big deal. Of course I would love to have it more stable when I drive but it's not like it's going to cause you a headache.Overall, the price I paid for this was below some of the more popular ones on Amazon. It's my first phone mount so I didn't have high expectations. It simply works and that's all I can ask for.

For the short time I've had the Zulu phone stand it's falling off twice off of my Dash I don't know what the problem is I've cleaned it and so forth and it stays there for a while and then i find it on the floor or find it on my seat. It's better than what I've had but it's not what I expected I figured that it would take a chisel and a hammer to get it off the dash but it comes off pretty frequently so I'm only going to give it three stars sorry guys better luck next time.

Initially, I loved this phone mount. I adhered it to my windshield and it worked great. I discovered a major problem with it after I left the car parked for a month while I was away. There is a gel/rubber ring that covers the suction cup that adheres to the mounting surface. While the car was parked, the sun caused the gel ring to melt and it dripped down the windshield. I found the phone mount on my care seat with the melted gel on my seat. A real mess. Without the gel ring the phone mount is useless. If it wasn't for the ring melting, I would have given this 5 stars.

I had a difficult time choosing the right location in my car, as I didn't want to stick it on my window. Though I tried the dashboard, I finally chose a spot near my gear shifter. The Zilu CM008 is surprisingly made well, and the plastic parts that rub against each other do not creak when adjusted or moved. Even the spring-loaded mechanism to stabilize your phone is quiet and smooth. I'm impressed! I'm using an iPhone 5S but the stand accommodates 6 & possibly 7, as well as larger Samsung phones; maybe not so large like an IPad,

I've used so many of these in the past, this is, by far, the best one yet. The stickiness is superior and i love the pivot head and the easy release button. I thought it was so good, I gave one as a present to my niece! She loves it as well. Its perfect for my sedan. I said goodbye to the vent clipper I had and replaced it with this. I'm going to send one to my sister as well!!!

This mount is awesome. I've been through so many of these holders. I have resorted to using 3M Dual Lock to secure the suction cup to the windshield. This unit has a sticky suction cup like none I have ever seen. It has a sticky coating and stays very secure to the windshield. It holds my Pixel XL even with a thick case.UPDATE:. It seems there is a newer/slightly different version of this mount. The suction cup doesn't have the stickyness to it anymore. In fact, one of the two additional mounts purchased has some sort of defective suction cup. There is a protective film that won't remove properly. I don't think it will stick to the window.2nd update: The teeth on the mount broke and it will not stay closed. Awesome!
