Simple and effective.
The Velcro strap easily goes around your lens and all you need to do is plug it into a power source via its USB 2 connector. Addressing those reviews that didn’t see any difference in temperature control, I’m not sure what they’re talking about. Simply strapping it around your wrist and going through the different levels - low, medium and high, you can feel the obvious difference in temperature. No reason to spend more on more intricate heaters.

Nice solution for eliminating fog on you lens
I am planning a winter photography trip where i am expected to drive in a warm car and shoot outside in freezing temperature so i was looking for a solution to eliminate the fog on the lens which switching from sitting in the car to going out for a shoot and back to the car. This lens heater seems to do its job, you connect it to a usb power bank and have control for 3 temperatures to heat your lens. You can also use it to worm your neck or wrist when you are back near your computer... it does the job :-)

It works
I used to use hand warmers on a lens when taking photos of the night sky to prevent dew on the front lens element. This works much better and when power by a battery from Anker it lasts all night.

Works ok but very wide
The warmer works very well as intended. I used a small USB battery pack for power, and I could carry that in my pocket with the cord long enough to reach the lens. My only issue is that it can interfere with your focus ring unless you are using a very large size lens. I mainly used a Nikon 20mm 1.8m, and it takes some practice to keep it from changing the focus when you don't expect it.
