Quite good fun! 🤩
Bought these because my Mum has rechargeable ones. These are battery operated but the batteries are included. They are better than the rechargeable ones as they zap the fly dead in one go rather than it being stunned and then you are still chasing it around the house! 😆 Good quality and very effective and reducing the amount of flies and actually quite good fun! There is a slight burnt smell after you’ve zapped one but it’s not unpleasant and it doesn’t linger. They are a good size (see pic) and only noisy when you cap a fly! Would buy again.

Misleading discription
I would have given this product 5 stars, but the £19.99 model does not have the LED light as stated in the description, it's not a deal breaker but it is still misleading. As for the product itself its pretty powerful and kills the flies on impact. You can hear them sizzle. Larger flies like blue bottles might require a second zap but it stuns them enough to finish the job.We have been plagued this year with smaller than average house flies which are impossible to catch, but armed with this bat and a bit of practice can zap them mid flight and on landing. Not sure why others are saying this product doesn't work. You have to hold the button in and pin them right in order to zap them and will take effort obviously. The light on the £19.99 2pk model is red when holding in to show it is on and not an LED as stated. The fact you have to hold the button in might save on battery but perhaps it might be useful if you had the choice to turn the bat on and off.Another thing worth mentioning is disposal. Any fly that might not drop off the bat immediately can be removed from the bat, with a little tap.All in all if your prepared to stalk your prey, a brilliant solution to keeping your home fly free.

Disappointing
Only one of the zappers worked and I could not find an option to contact the seller.

Sporting game with bugs.
I bought these thinking they wouldn't last. After a successful year of bug/moth zapping, I'm here another year using the same rackets. Also I've only ever put one set of batteries in them and they're still going. Would recommend.

It is noisy!
Only had it a short time and, weirdly, the flies seemed to know and stopped coming!!! However, a few have now returned and have been well 'zapped'. The only complaint I have with it at the moment is the sound. The first time I used it, our dog was in his bed about 3-4 feet away and the 'crackle' made when the fly and zapper made contact, was so loud, he just took off. Since then, I have discovered it makes little or no difference if it is a bluebottle or a mosquito that is zapped, the sound is equally as loud, (and still upsets the dog!!). However, it definitely works😆
