Awesome throwback
This is a great little truck and very detailed for the price range. I haven't used it too much for any real crawling because I suspect the motor and drivetrain are value engineered, but it's definitely fun and a great looking piece of history it does climb the local BMX ramps pretty good but I'm shy of putting it to any real tests until I can upgrade the motor.

Lifelike miniature C/K truck
The truck comes with the rechargeable battery. Played with it all morning Christmas. Fun little truck. Durable and well constructed. Headlight and taillight all work. Cool features. I recommend.

Lasted 3 days
While this truck looks great and was really fun to use, it only lasted 3 days when it just stopped driving. Lights would just blink and wouldn't drive.

Very detailed!!!
I love this truck. It is very detailed and performs extremely well. The motor is powerful enough to drive the truck just about anywhere. I use it as a crawler and in the trail and it does not disappoint. It has lights that can be switched on and off from transmitter. It was a nice addition to my collection.

great design realistic and long lasting batery and strong. Weak rear bumper
this for the price is amazing. I walked with my dog over one big block driving it and driving it on different peoples yards, mud and rocks and it has a lot of power and great suspension. Only thing is the rear bumper is very weak plastic snapped off very easy. But other than that so far it's great even the range of distance.

Great truck if you want to put in some work.
(I have updated to a 3 star from 4 star rating) because it is one of the only really nice looking, scale model pickup trucks with a full bed and working tailgate at this scale (or any scale really). It is very capable as a crawler and, again, it looks awesome.However....I have had the truck for about 4 weeks and have yet to make it through a full battery without it breaking. The rest of this review may be used as a sort of users guide for those who are willing to work to keep their truck on the road. The first time it broke was from driving through grass, which it can do fine, but the motor was overtaxed from the effort and burnt out after about 1 minute. I replaced it with "INJORA RC Brushed Motor 050 50T Pro High Torque Motor" from Amazon. Which was basically a direct replacement. Just make sure to measure the distance from the pinion gear to the motor on the old motor before replacing the pinion gear onto the new one. It has a shorter shaft. This motor has worked great so far and been through much more abuse without any issue. The second time it broke was from driving slowly into a steep obstacle that stopped the truck and broke the gearbox. I bought direct replacement gears from Hobby Town. Easy install. The third time it broke was from driving into an obstacle and the gearbox broke again (gear teeth stripped off in both instances). This time I replaced with metal gears from Amazon "Laiaouay Metal Steel Center Gearbox Gears Set for 1/18 Scale FMS Cruiser". These were a direct replacement. (These gears come from multiple different named sellers, so if the Laiaouay are not available, keep looking.) I installed with a small amount of oil on each gear to help lubricate. Even with that, they are much louder than the plastic gears. They are way more durable though. No issues at all, even with "abusive" driving. The fourth time it broke was more minor, with the on-off switch separating from their wires. I had to remove the wire loom and re-solder the switch and made the joint stronger.(Update) It has broken again. Now the receiver and transmitter aren't pairing and I cannot diagnose the issue. Update: I spent $42 to buy a receiver/controller combo and got it fixed again. I now have the Traxxas 1:18 scale crawler and I always gravitate toward this little truck as it’s much more interesting and fun to drive. With the upgraded motor and gearbox, I think this is the best 1:18 scale crawler out there today (Traxxas is about to put that to the test with their soon to be released 1:18 crawler, but I wanted a truck anyway)I recommend this as a usable RC car only to someone willing to pay an additional ~$40 on the upgraded parts I mentioned (Or other similar upgrades). It is a necessity if you plan to crawl and use the truck. Otherwise, drive it gently and sparingly.(Last detail: The seller has acted like they are sending me replacement parts, but they have found an excuse not to so far for over a month. I wouldn't rely on free replacement parts under warranty. I will update accordingly as things progress. Update: the seller furnished me with a new part after 4 weeks.)

Very cool fms rc
Very nice and great detail for a small rc . From fms . It's got its flaws only working brake lights in back. But it's very cool to say the least, hard body is very detailed,

The looks the truck is very detailed
I have run the truck on the back year and for a mini crawler it is awesome, it will crawl on small rocks and roots. the detail is awesome and the fact that the blinkers works on such a small vehicle it is great.I am starting to collect all of them the next will be the Toyota FJ. I will post pictures next time I run it.I know FMS for there airplanes which are excellent and now they are doing the same with the cars.
