Lid is hard to get off. You can't use box 6v batteries. You have to buy their battery. Other than that, can't beat one for the money.

I bought 3 of these to feed my fish in a large pond i set them up all seemed well went on vacation (fishing trip) for three days. Got back to find one feeding for a half a second every 1-2minutes and the other two not doing anything. So two thirds of my fish were hungry for who knows how long and the others were fat dumb and happy when i got home.

This works pretty good but it uses a lot of batteries. Not a bad unit for the money but needs a better way to run it like a car battery.

how 2wow no instructions but really not that bad i really like how ez the timer works but 1s again no instructions and does not come with the battery 6v spring top get it at lowes over all good for the price the metal flinger tray is hiding in the black box take a Philips screw driverthe 3 metal brackets the 2 strait 1s go on the sides L pointing out the curved goes on the back also pointing out put on with wing nutsmount the black metal cone to the bottom center using the 3 smaller screws and a nut driver by hand do not over titiancenter the 3 metal brackets attacked to the black box on the bottom of the bucket over the metal cone using the 3 larger screws and a nut driver by hand do not over titian2 ways to change the amount of food with the timer OR by a gusting the wing nutsPS using this for a pond feederthing i would change the no instruction thing is kinda funny gonna make for a good dip s*** trap would be a ton better if the bucket was pri drilled in the rite spots and nuts and bolts were supplied the handle with a small bend in the top and maybe a gasket but that may be asking to much LoLif this doesn't help get a large hammer and smack your self in the head 2 to 3 time repeat if needed

Very hard to get the bucket open. After setup worked fine for a couple of days then wouldn’t stop spinning throwing all the feed out. Cheap but not good, Very bad product

I have three American hunter feeder this one and the other two are the ones u set with pins. All work great, handle the hunting season well. This feeder is nice if you want two save a couple bucks and simply want to feed two times a day once at sunup then at a later time u choose. If u want a good feeder that has more options, I have had great luck with the one with pinsfor years.
