Banana bags have changed our lives! My husband eats wagon-loads of bananas. I married a monkey! But, even so, he doesn't always eat them fast enough to prevent some from going bad. For myself, the banana window of desirability is tiny and you have to be alert as it approaches to catch it before it passes, because the optimum time for eating a banana seems to me to be an amount of time equal to that you'd spend waiting in line at the bank or Post Office, and then: Poof! My banana is OVERripe. Oh, no! These bags enlarge that window of desirability. Once ripe, these bags help hold your bananas in suspended animation for awhile.

The ONLY reason I gave it 2 stars is because the (1) bag I received was good...but the ad said (2-pack).....AND...it. would seem that I'm not going to get the second one. The ad clearly showed (2) bags and was written as (2-pack).

I bought this product to slow the ripening process and also because I was getting tiny black fruit flies that apparently love banana skins. The bags are huge. They do nothing to slow ripening. You can use any bag to contain fruit flies.

Keeps bananas fresh longer and keeps protected from insects.

I really like the bags. The bananas do stay fresh longer. I eat bananas 6 days a week in smoothies. My bananas are used up in about a week-8 days.

Keep celery for weeks, and no flavors from other foods.

Interesting,,, Very interesting. It does the trick because the bananas tend to last a few days longer.
