Neiko Wing Nut Assortment - 150 Pieces with Plastic Storage Case

These wing nuts are very low quality. The product photo shows what appears to be a decently respectable quality unit with plenty of threads per nut, for good solid contact with minimal play. The actual units that arrived have only about 2.5 to 3 threads per nut. Manufacturing consistency is very low; each unit appears slightly different than the next. The description is also inadequate (needs to describe the actual sizes present in the kit). At least I can help to fix that. The box contains:30pc 10#-24(3/16")30pc 10#-32(3/16")25pc 1/4"-2025pc 1/4"-2820pc 5/16"-1820pc 5/16"-24Note that there are only three actual sizes present (but two separate thread pitches per size).Overall, they feel poor quality and weak. On the other hand, since they are wingnuts, they probably won't get torqued very hard by fingers alone, so they will still probably get the job done for most non-demanding applications.

Product description says stainless steel. Nothing on product box box says stainless steel. Tested product with magnet. It is not stainless steel. Appears to be a cheap cast steel product. I was ripped off. Recommend you remove immediately from product offerings. Shame on you for selling such a misrepresented piece of crap. Gave it one star because I couldn't figure out to to give zero stars or more appropriately minus 5 stars and still be allowed to write review

I needed a wing nut for a battery post on my boat. I checked out the prices for one and considered having to drive somewhere to find it being sold and decided to just order an offering of several sizes I might need in the future. Is that economically wise? No, not really, but I will someday need another several wingnuts and if I can find them in my garage, I will be ahead of the game. I know they are made in China, so that cost this offering a star, that's just me.

This is a good assortment of wing nuts for a good price. I use them for quick-assembly jigs and things like that. Nothing special. One thing to note that others brought up -- there aren't a whole lot of threads given the shallowness of the nuts. I have others that are much deeper but also much more expensive. These, however, will do the jobs I have intended for them.

Bought these as spares for lost/missing and/or broken wing nuts. Sometimes to swap out hex-nuts for convince.

Great items to have around

These are great starter sets, and they're reasonably well-made. If you're a home ownerthat doesn't have a Hardware store a stone's throw away, these sets will serve you well!If you're a service tech of any kind, these are maybe a little more per unit than you typically spend but they are really, really handy!

Good alternative to wrenching a bolt onto the nut when assembly and dis assembly is frequent.
