Bought for a bright 3yr olds Christmas present. I had first ordered a cheaper more novel one (shaped like a space ship) and luckily tried it out before gifting. We sent it back as it was very disappointing and ordered this planetarium instead. Apparently it is the most used Christmas present of all, with the whole family enjoying it at bedtime and learning the planets. Our Grandson asked "how do the stars get into my bedroom?"

I wanted an "authentic" Planetarium projector on a budget and this product does just that. The reasons for deducting a star are:1. The 12V power Lead is too short so I had to buy an extension lead.2. The display on the ceiling is good but it loses definition toward the edges.I am convinced that there are no comparable products but there are cheaper ones that might be acceptable if you just want a night-sky effect without the authenticity but, for educational purposes, this is probably as good as it gets without spending thousands of pounds.

I am on my second one as I broke the first one - I use it every night is magic - and I’ve bought 2 as gifts 🤩

Very disappointed... I was expecting more from the price ... and limited disks... maybe new ones will make it worth

Beautiful display on ceiling but because of the shape of the lens, the edges of the projection aren't as clear as the middle and are blurred.

Absolutely appalling piece of rubbish, the image is blurry at best nomatter how much you try and focus it nothing changes.Also as you can see from my picture the image is completely dominated by the rings in the back of the projector.

Nice colour and the shooting star feature is a nice plus. Came with two disks. Has the ability to focus the images which is a plus.

So far so good. You need a very dark room. Also you have turn the focus arranger 20 times to bring the discs into focus. Luckily there is a piece of paper attached to the item item. You can buy additional items for this planetarium.
