I started drilling out some spot welds on my project truck and at first was very impressed with the bits. Until the first one snapped leaving part of the bit stuck in the quick release collar of a brand new bit extension. Now I have no bit and a useless bit extension. Recommend you look elsewhere for something more durable. Update after writing my original review I was contacted and offered a new set, The company clearly wants its customers to be satisfied and is willing to stand behind its products

Perfect for all kind of metals. I’m been using them for electrical work. Making holes on my boxes and electrical panels and they’re sharp still.

Used the 1/8 to 1/2 step bit in a cordless drill (Milwaukee M18)to make some holes in 1/4” steel larger (5/16” to 1/2”), the bit definitely cut through fairly effortlessly however after 3 holes the shank of the bit broke from the torque of the drill (refer to attached picture). Continued to use the bit for the remaining 7 holes by “choking up” on the bit in the drill chuck and the bit performed well. The description of the bits say you can use them in a hammer drill however I would strongly not recommend this due to the brittle shank material.
