Pocket Bible Dictionary: Nelson's Pocket Reference Series

This is my ‘go to’ book for my three little girls. Except this one was the American version which was a surprise in a few parts - ‘icing’ became ‘frosting’ and ‘roaring’ became ‘booming’.

Cute and handy for my handbag although useful it's not a complete concordance like Strongs for example rather a reference for words.

This is a perfect size if you don't want a Bible too bulky. The Bonded Leather is really good. The print is a very comfortable size to read. At the beginning of each book is a small commentary. Prophetic passages are marked with a star. The only not-so-good comment I would make is the pages in this, and most other Bibles, are quite flimsy. But very pleased with my purchase.

Nice size & font not too small

As a pocket guide it is necessarily brief and based on the King James version. If you are using a newer one - e.g. Good News or The message, then you would have to use them side by side - but OK

Invaluable. Fits into pocket or purse easily. Contains most of the well known scriptures. It is something I would not be without and I have given many to friends.
