Textured
It was easy to install and looks great, though I wouldn't really call it carbon fiber.You might be able to tell from the pic I uploaded, the thatched pattern on the plate surface is actually a real/raised texture. I was planning to use some stick-on vinyl to add lettering and decorations, but that won't work well with a textured surface.The screw-top covering "buttons" are a nice touch, though they are noticeably different from the plate surface both because they're shiny/glossy and the printed pattern doesn't match with the frame exactly. Not saying it's bad, but just different.

Complete kit, way more than I expected.
This included a plain plastic frame, and the carbon fiber looking plastic frame. As well as some foam pads and other miscellaneous accessories to mount everything. It is important to note I think that this is NOT made of carbon fiber, rather it is plastic and made to look like a carbon fiber weave pattern.
