The product itself looks nice when it's off, it's sleek and clean with a very modern feel to it. When on the light it emits is VERY bright and annoying to the eyes, when looking towards the light even in a very bright room your are forced to squint at times. It also emits a BLUEish light this is NOT WHITE 4500K to 5000K this is more blue in the 6000K + range. It is also very important to note these ARE NOT UL LISTED so some electricians will not install them. The attached photo shows the light in comparison to my 3000K ceiling lights and my 3000K Under cabinet lights.

I read a bunch of negative reviews on this item but still took a chance and bought them. Everything else was either too bulky, old fashioned or too expensive. All the negative reviews were color of the light related. Here is the deal. If you want them to match the most of the lights in your house get YELLOW. They are not yellow, they are warm white. They are very slick and unique, perfect brightness for the kitchen island, and were super easy to install. So glad I took that chance!P.S. They came out brighter and whiter on the picture than in real life. There is definitely no halo. Make a 30% adjustment.P.P.S. Wouldn’t choose them for an area you wanna feel cozy.
