Wow, I am impressed with this ultra-light, just-the-right-size, portable, dependable little LED lamp. As soon as it arrived, I found my daughter reading in dim light in the living room (we don't have such great lighting), and I immediately placed it next to her to illuminate her book. (You know, reading in dim light for prolonged periods of time is associated with vision problems, not to mention eye strain and headaches.) It was not charged when it arrived, so I just plugged it into a cellular power brick that I had bought from Amazon, and voila! Perfect lighting. The lamp has 3 settings, and I almost always need it on the highest one. The middle one will do for work on my cell phone, flipping through a catalog, cooking, chores, or anything else that doesn't require bright light, but the brightest setting works best for reading and up close work. I probably won't use the dimmest setting because it is quite dim. Actually, I think I'll use it as a modest flashlight when walking through the house at night searching for a glass of water or to the bathroom so that I don't have to wake up my brain by flicking on a room light. The clip is sturdy enough to hold a hardcover book, not a paperback or magazine, but you can clip it basically anywhere without damage to the surface if you are reading one of those.

Great clip-on light. Strong clip and stays in place. I bought it for my 7 year old who likes to read in bed each night on the top bunk. No place to put a regular table lamp up there. This clips on to the bunk bed headboard. He simply reaches over and turns on/off. Flexible part is about 14 inches from clip base to tip of light. The lighted part is about 3 inches long and 1 inch at its widest. Three brightness settings: Low, Med, High. The on-off switch is that small, white, square outline on the front of the clip base. It is pretty cool because it operates by touch. It has a sensor that senses your finger touch. Neat. I give this product five stars. It works as well as I expected. It arrived in perfect shape. I have no complaints. I've used it one month prior to writing this review. I recommend it. For the record, I am a regular buyer. No compensation of any kind for my review. Simply bought it for personal use and I like to give a good review when I am pleased with a product.

I really liked that this lamp is very lightweight, easy to move, and flexible. It's really small, maybe just over a foot in height but it still gives off plenty of light. As mentioned, there are 3 different levels of light intensity it gives off and activated via a simple touch. Very convenient. The light itself is a bluish color which isn't my fav but it gets the job done either way. It does get dim when it starts running low on battery so it wouldn't be a bad idea to charge it ever other day or so. I'd buy it again.

Avoid this light from this seller, It's complete junk. First I couldn't get it to turn on. Then I finally got it on, and it wouldn't turn off. It was on for an 1hr before the battery ran out. I immediately got a refund the same day it arrived.

Really great, lightweight lamp with great functionality - clip in, rechargeable and has 3 brightness settings. You can even use it while you charge, it stand straight on the desk on it's own or you can clip it to any surface. The quality is great, it's well made and looks pretty expensive. I hope it lasts for a while!! Highly recommend it for the price you pay!

I really love it and it's ease of use. I only wish the base was a tad bit heavier so it would remain upright if I don't have something to clip it to. The light is durable enough to take it if I accidently tip it over. Now, don't get me wrong, the weight of the base may be perfect for you, in that case it deserves 5 stars. It's just a bit of a balancing act for me to just let it sit it up on the base alone. I actually personally give it a 5 star rating because it's not the lamps fault that I can't clip it. It's the table here in the nursing care center. I'll give the darn table a .0 rating for being too thick... Lol.Buy this light and you'll be very happy for a long time to come and the price is very reasonable. The family that sells it seem to be good, honest people and I give them a pat on the back for their friendliness and integrity. I hear they donate a portion of their earnings to charity. This lamp is ideal for any voracious reader like me.I've never really become a fan of e-books - iPad or otherwise. I still like the nostalgia of holding a book in my hands and being able to turn pages. The one draw back I've found that it's difficult to find an adequate light source - the overhead lights in a room aren't ever that bright. Prolonged reading causes an eye strain. Hence I thought of getting an individual sized lamp. When I came across this product it checked all the boxes in terms of being fun sized, providing focused light and the best part- a clip which can attach to the hardback itself or a narrow table. This lamp is USB chargeable hence there's no hassle of finding batteries. It's lightweight and charges rapidly. It has a neat finish and an updated style.

Nice lightweight unit. I like the arm length and stiffness is just right. I'd give it five stars except for the on/off button that is flush, and has a very small sweet spot. Can be hard to find, even when second, third or ?? tap is done, directly on top of the preceding tap. First tap works, then . . . not so much. You do ultimately find it. Still a good unit though.Update: Of course . . . at day 31 the on/off "tap" goes inoperative. Over the 30 days it would be difficult to find the sweet spot for the tap, but you would eventually get it to work. Then it started changing light level on its own. Then it turned on OR off on its own. Now it's stuck on "on". . . and won't turn off. Not such a good value anymore.
