Gooseneck Kettle Tea Kettle Pour Over Kettle Pour Over Coffee Dripper, Teakettle Drip Pot with Stainless Steel Brewer and Paper Filters, 1.3L

Well made kettle. Not flimsy thin metal like some other kettles I've used. It pours very well with spout that allows easy to control stream of water. The pot is large enough at the base to allow use on a gas flame and boils water very quickly. Much faster than the small sauce pot I was using. The spout is securly attached to the body with strong crimps, not spot welds that will break. The strainer is solidly made staneless steel although it is small, not big enough for multiple cups of coffee. For one or two cups it's fine but if you want to make a large pot of coffee you will need a larger cone strainer. I live alone and only make a couple of cups at a time so it's perfect for me. For the price this is a very good deal. The kettle is excellent and equal to kettles that cost many times what this one costs. When you include the cone you can't beat this deal. The kettle is large enough to make many cups of coffee. It holds almost a liter and a half of water and the handle is easily strong enough with heavy riveted attachment, and thickly insulated handle. I'm very happy with this deal.

The kettle works great. There is no whistle or thermometer, so you do need to pay attention to notice when it's ready to use. The pot heats up really fast! I think it's faster than the electric pot I use to use. The coffee dripper works well too. It is a metal mesh that can be used with a paper filter (though the paper filter is not needed). It is on the smaller side, so you will get just one cup out of it. It also needs multiple pours, so it's not quite as fast as my Chemex. You will need to use a taller mug too, so the filter doesn't start to dip into the coffee.I use both of these in my RV, so it's nice that they pack up together and don't take up much space.

I don't like the plastic waste with an expensive Kuerig machine, so I thought I'd try a Pour Over system. This one works great. The kettle doesn't have a whistle or thermometer, but it's easy to work with and gives you a lot of control when you pour. (Check You Tube for examples of "How To") Perfect for making just 1 or 2 cups of excellent coffee.

We’ve used this kettle everyday since we received it - 19 days - and it’s been a great addition to our coffee making endeavors but noticed rust this morning where the bottom and the sides meet. There’s sections of red rust and you can’t really get it out. We’ve been meticulous in cleaning and drying it out and yet rust developed. Would NOT recommend this product unless we’re missing something in caring for it.— editSince I posted that review, customer service gave me a refund without asking me to send the kettle back, which was very much appreciated. So I’ve changed it from 1 to 3 stars. Hopefully they will truly work on improving the product.

Works very well compared to other more expensive models. I don't hear the whistle, but you can hear the water boiling so it bot a big deal. Only issue was after a while there was a but of rust on the front, but use it quite a bit so understandable.

The kettle is fine. I have no problems with it. I'm keeping it. The reason for my three star review is due to the misleading photos. I was disappointed with the size of the stainless cone and the paper filters. They are only large enough to fit over a glass or mug for a single serving. The photos are misleading. Some of them give the impression that they would be the right size to use with my Chemex coffee maker, but not at all. The fact that this kettle includes the paper filters and the cone influenced my decision to purchase it. Now I still need a stainless cone and filters for the Chemex.

I would have given this kettle and overall 5 except we noticed a rust even after cleaning and drying it after each use. I am a bit disappoint as I didn’t expect this at all. I try to patronize other sellers and not the ones with all the high raters. Oh well there you have it.

Opening the package I was immediately impressed. It was shipped nicely, and even included paper coffee filters and a metal reusable filter!!! I didn't realize that. I'm so happy I chose this one. I washed and used the kettle and the metal filter right away and it worked perfectly for a cup of loose leaf tea. Only one use, so far so good. Glad I went with this one.
