I must admit I had some doubts it would be real nephrite jade. Happily I was wrong and seems very real to me It's a very dark almost completely black stone and is surprisingly heavier than it looks. Not sure if it handed carved but still nicely done if not and machine produced all the same.The cord is very short,but I had intended to replace it anyway. I'm going to restring it with paracord and some titanium beads. As I intend to wear it alot as I've always like this style of art.
