The feel and curingvtime
The color is nice. The ink is thick. It does not cure fast. It has been over 24 hours and still wet.

bad packaging. beware of ink leaking.
Great product in terrible packaging . Several of my ink orders leaked their color in transit. examining the individual items I found the inner sealing flap had lifted as if someone had opened them. And the top was not turned to a tight position. Akua/Speedball need to look at their packaging for these products.

Non-Toxic Printmaking
Akua Intaglio inks have been a catalyst in my reimmersion into printmaking after a 27 year hiatus due to personal toxicity from solvent based inks and solvents. A desire to work again in printmaking utilizing non-toxic measures led me to these wonderful inks. My experience using them has been refreshing with huge open times on the plate and cleanup with liquid soap and h2o. Research online indicates that Akua Products seem to be the go to ink line for serious printmakers. Reference to their use seems to keep showing up in my ongoing research of printmakers work.

Doesn't dry out
I really like that this ink does not dry out- great for monoprint when you are experimenting with different techniques. Nice smooth application. Clean up is quick and easy.

Nope
Pretty disappointed. The cap was loosely on but the foil underneath was already opened and we could have had a mess. Figured it was still fine so I tried using it only to realize that it was like semi-dried out paste which is tough to smooth into a plate and then get off. That didn't go well. It must have dried out from the seal being open. Also the color after printing is more like Burnt Sienna, still pretty but not what I needed. Again this could be due to the fact it is so dried out.

Old Ink?
Ink had a skin and seemed dried out - wasn't as liquid as usual. To much hassle to return in the pandemic.
