This is a durable flyer!If your SJ230 stops charging you should remove the cockpit casing and replug the Battery wire clip back into place, since a major crash will dislodge the two pin clip.Consider it as an emergency self shut down feature.*****Besides Every good pilot knows to do a pretrip inspection.Sometimes that means checking under the Hood. ;)Super easy RTF rc but had to deduct one star due to the weak flimsy landing gear leg.If I were not a previous Owner/flyer of the Syma S107/ s107G This SJ230/SJ250 would have easily picked up that 5th star. However, I will give credit were credit is due and say, "The nifty and nimble SJ230/SJ250 is more than an indoor toy RC. Thus becoming super cool Dad times 3.Just keep these Rc's inside as my daughter found out when she disobeyed me and let her mother tell her to take it outside.Short story as she was landing it she decided to quick kill power by deactivating the infra red controller.Which caused the heli to immediately be hijacked by the infra red rays of the bright sun.I mean it suddenly took off like it was on solar power and before she knew it had soared 40 feet into the air when it suddenly stalled before falling to the top of our townhouse roof. No ladder.Remedy?Remember that Syma S107g?I had to tie a loop made of yarn, hooked it to the S107 and sent old trusty up to get it which happened to be just in range of its capability.I snagged the sj230 on the third attempt and with tongue in cheek was able to retrieve it with little difficulty:Instant level up= Super Dad times 3 to the 2nd power.Youngest son gave his Sj 250 a sure fire destructive flight path from the back of my head as I was watching tv, which I happened to swat by pure inadvertant reflex sending it hard to the hallway wall then to the floor. He must have panicked, as you could clearly hear the engine as it went full power & just as his sister yelled "make it stop!' the sj 250 went screaming across rug snagging a landing skid which upended the craft and slammed it into the big Screen.Well sure enough the lights, the propeller, and sound of the engine instantly ceased before it even fell back to the floor.Then wouldn't you have guessed it..We could not get it to recharge or turn back on.Went on line to find some trouble shooting but only found remarks of the same: flyer took crash and would never fly or recharge again.I took the cockpit casing off the sj 250 and discovered the battery pack wire clip had dislodged.Plugged it back in and I'll be dog goned..As all the lights immediately began working and flashing I leveled up again to the sound of a happy 9 yr old's cheer.Who declared me "Super Sayion Dad!!!Now I rank with the characters of Dragonball Z.LmaoToday's record two downed choppers recovered, crew safe and sound, and one bald spot on a Super Sayion Dad's Head.No damage to TV nor wall and cracked skid mended by toy model glue kept the fix light and right.If you want your child to learn a new exciting hobby order these today!They're extremely safe & durable.Oh, Yes!Did I mention the price is pleasantly cheap for such great quality?

Got it for Christmas for my 6 year old, he's pretty good at flying it, but this thing IS FRAGILE. He dropped the controller ONCE and one of the control sticks and the back piece broke. I'm fairly handy, so I was able to repair that, then the clips that hold the body on broke, repaired those too, now it's 10 times stronger than it was when we got it. He definitely enjoys playing with it, but be prepared for some surgery if you buy this.

It flies well and is a lot of fun but it broke on the second day and we threw it away. It does not crash well. I would buy again though.

Within a few minutes of the first test run it would randomly lose the signal from the remote and fall to the ground. It broke completely within a day and a half. I'd give it one star if it hadn't been so cheap. You get the quality you pay for really.

I love this heli, My last copter the cat destroid in the air,this one has survive several cat attacks.Awesome!
