ZampZ-20 Series Shield Gold Prizm Chrome

Tested on a super bright track day with shiny concrete floor and it performed as expected. Can finally use my regular eye glasses under the visor

Looks great. Really makes my new helmet POP. It really helps when the sun is low in the sky and you come around a turn with it staring you right in the face! I ended up driving at night with it and it is too darkly tinted for that. Great visor.

Pros- looks awesome on the helmet.Cons- tint is a very dark blue from the inside, dont plan on using this unless its a clear sunny day.-came with a scratched lens, and since the packaging wasnt messed up, I assume its going to scratch very easily?-did I mention that looking out of this thing makes it seem like you are using a dark blue filtered welding helmet?-it looks awesome on the helmet, which makes it hard to remove even though you hate using it more than any visor you have ever had.

Very good looking visor. Originally skeptical if this would provide enough sun protection, soon learned it’s extremely dark. I am accustomed to wearing a black shield like a pair of sunglasses. NASA could wear this on space walks. Luckily I race in California and it’s near always bright and sunny when racing. Extremely fast shipping and excited to use this visor.

This item shipped and showed up pretty quick, so no issue there.However, when the visor showed up it looked like it had been used already. There were scratches all over and the Zamp sticker looked like it was removed and put back on at some point. Typically, when you get a new Zamp visor, there is a peelable protective film to take off, there was none.Additionally, I contacted the store directly but they simply deferred me to Amazon. I regret not going through Summit Racing.

I bought this shield to deal with sunset light while I am out on the track. I used to wear sunglasses under the clear visor but I didn't like the feel while wearing both the sunglasses and helmet. So, I saw this visor and figured I'd give it a try...and it definitely came through! It not only makes the whole helmet look nicer/cooler but it absolutely solved the sunlight issue while racing. Not once did the sun blind me while going through elevation changes and corners. If you're thinking of picking this up...just add to cart and purchase it...you will not regret it.NOTE: You can notice that the visor guide on the right hand side has caused some damage to the gold tint but I fixed it by loosening the screw just a tad.

Mine is the gold version. I like how it is simple with flat head screw driver hardware unlike my old helmet and shield would totally by again
