I'm glad I purchased this lamp. It is a nice simple, modern design and because of the remote function and the different settings, a very practical one. As the controls are half way up the stand, it wouldn't be difficult to reach them if you had to, but all the controls are on the remote...so why bother? You can choose between 5 brightness settings and 5 different colour temps, which means there is a setting suitable for anyone. The sleep timer function is a great idea, a choice of 1 or 10 minutes gives you plenty of time to make sure the doors are locked and everything else is turned off. It was easy to assemble. Recommended.

I was pleasantly surprised by this. It came in a really small package but is quite tall when put together. I think the instructions were not the best but once I figured out how to do the bottom bit (which took time to figure out you had to pull the bottom cord) it was fairly easy to put together, I like that you can adjust the brightness and colour. It is not the brightest I have seen but it is still quite bright, bright enough in my opinion for a lamp. I use it almost every night when using my computer as the room I work at home in does not have a bright light. It can also be flexed and moved around easy. I would recommend it, I have been very happy with it so far. I have had a few products which disappoint recently but not this one.

Variation in light setting very useful and work well. Has a small footprint. Minus one star because the power lead comes out of the top of power supply, thus wire loops into the air.

Exceptional light stand. Comes in a compact box. Extremely easy to assemble, a few twists and your done. Heavy duty base allows it to sit firmly on the floor. Long flexible arm allows easy positioning for the user and the remote is a nice touch. Comes with a UK plug but no batteries. You will need 2 AAA batteries although the controls on the light stand work perfectly fine.

This lamp is great. It fits neatly behind my corner sofa and is great for my crafting. I love how it is easy to change the positing the light is pointing using the bendy neck. Having led light instead of a bulb is much better as the lamp does not over heat. Another surprise bonus is there is no glare of the light on the tv as I sit beside the tv. It is definitely more functional than aesthetic, but personally I light the modern simple look.

I use this for reading, for night lighting effect, as a timed night light. Don't worry this does all that it says very well. Metal-alloy components (in black) gave a great look. The remote control is useful on my bedside table so its the last light to go off remotely. It's one of those - how did I live without this before kind of products ;-)

Very impressed with this reading lamp, good quality and exactly what I needed, at an excellent price. Very easy to put together and love the combination of lighting options on the remote. Speedy delivery, highly recommended.

It is perfect for reading without flooding the whole room with light. The remote makes it so much easier to control if the lamp is positioned behind you or over your shoulder where it's switch would not be easy to reach. The flexible goose-neck section makes it possible to position the lamp exactlywhere the light is needed. I wish I'd bought one long ago.
