No autographs, please...
Ok, first, nobody is gonna ask me to take over for Zakk Wylde as lead for Black Label Society (and probably the best living 6 string player, and better than most who've passed). But as I've mastered most all major chords, and decided I'd like to work on positions for minors, and this keeps my girl sane bcuz, well,it's silent? Yup. I knew it was made of plastic when I bought it, so no complaints there-it's rugged and quiet. Happy times for her means good times for me while she drives-I can practice,or while she's on the phone, etc.,you know the drill ;)

Good Learning Tool
If you are serious about learning guitar, you will need this tool. It has aided me in learning the chord shapes that I needed. It is not proportionate to an actual guitar neck and it you can not "strum" it, but it will help you learn what you need to know. Get familiar with the chord shapes then pick a guitar to see if you really learned something; you might be shocked.(shook):)

Doing waste your money,
I bought this to help to keep my fingers limber, but this mini guitar is not worth it

Not worth it
It is not worth purchasing since you can’t play a tune only place fingers on frets. I personally did not like this item at all.

Wished for more
I was very disappointed in this product. The strings were not tight enough to even place my fingers in position and when I tried to tighten it they acted like they were stripped.

Quiet chord practice and toughens up the fingertips
I'm amazed at some of the negative reviews here for this item. This is not an instrument. It's not a mini guitar, it's not tuneable, you can't strum or play it. You don't get that for seven quid. This is a 6-fret piece of guitar neck with some strings on it. It's for practicing chord shapes and fretting, that's it. I bought it so I'd be able to sit down in the evening and quietly continue practicing chord changes without turning into a complete recluse, or driving the rest of my family around the bend. It's helped to toughen up my fingertips and made a real difference with chord changes.Out of the box, it's quite a neat thing. The cover slides back and exposes the fretboard and strings. The string tension on some strings was too tight, and too loose on the others, but it comes with a key to adjust the tension. Again, tension, not tuning. It's not an instrument. The cover sits in place to make it longer which gives it a more guitar-like feel, and easier to hold. The action is too high for my liking, and not adjustable. I tried filing the slots out a little with a needle file, but there's not enough spare string to unwind and restring it. I've decided to just put up with it.Fret edges are a bit sharp, but again, it was seven quid.I've put a set of fret stickers on mine so I can see which notes I'm "playing" when I'm making up the chords or practicing a scale. It's a neat little device and I'm quite pleased with it overall.

Terrible intonation if you strum it
I obviously didn’t think this through properly before buying one - it’s completely unstrumable because the scale length is totally wrong. Therefore all you can do is practice finger position because if you do strum it it will sound awful.

Cheap and useful practice tool.
OK I'm a beginner on guitar first off, I've read reviews on this item and surprised at £7 some people are expecting a tuneable playable 'mini guitar'🤔 lol. This is as far as I can tell a very useful tool to practice finger placement for Chords, doing finger exercises on and toughening your finger tips.It is plastic and as said once you tighten strings the cover won't go on properly. Not sure how long before it breaks but for now it's helping me practice without guitar.

Good for keeping calloused fingers when travelling
I bought this as I travel for work and can’t take guitars. It sounds terrible, but I bought it for keeping tips of fingers calloused. It’s okay for practicing chord shapes to.

You get what you pay for!, so don’t waste your money!.
When you first get it, you have to tighten the strings, but then you cannot close it!, as the screws catch on the inside of the plastic cover, & make it impossible to slide back down!.

You can't play a time on it
You can practice your chords any where

Does what is says, not what idiots expect
Can't quite believe the number of idiots complaining it doesn't play a tune, read the listing, it's for finger practice lol

Solidly built
This was the cheapest model I could find, so I was a little unsure what the quality would be. I needn’t have worried: it’s robust, and will last for years.
