I have been using this product for some time on a Miele washing machine. It is easy to use and does not create massive suds in the drum. It has a neutral scent but does tend to help clear the soap scum from the drum and outlet pipes. It does however need to be repeated monthly.

Limescale buildup was starting to affect my kettle and coffee machine, making them slower and less efficient. I decided to try this descaler, and I’m so glad I did! After just one use, my kettle looked spotless inside, and my coffee machine was running much more smoothly.The product is easy to use and works quickly to remove stubborn scale. Plus, it helps extend the life of my appliances, which saves me money in the long run. If you live in a hard water area or just want to keep your appliances in top condition, I highly recommend this descaler!

Judging by some of the other reviews I have read on here there seems to be some confusion as to what the product is and what it can actually do. First and formost whether we're dealing with a dishwasher or washing machine the appliance must be in full working order. If this is not the case then the appliance must be repaired first, It may seem that I am stating the obvious here but subtle faults which don't really seem like faults such as late to fill with water on a dishwasher, no heat on iether appliance, or slow drainage on iether appliance. If using on a washing machine then I would remove and clean the filter first before using the HG service engineer for washing machines and dishwashers. Some washing machines have a self clean mode and if that's the case follow the manufacturer's instructions for correct use, but usually the self clean program is enough with out using any other cleaning products. In the case of a washing machine then we really want to slosh a lot of water around the inner tub and drain the machine properly taking all the crud with it, and in the case of a dishwasher we really want the water to properly circulate through out the system and properly drain away all so taking all the crud with it, this must happen on hot cycles and rince cycles on iether a dishwasher or washing machine. If iether appliance is working correctly then this is an excellent deep cleaner especially on a dishwasher, it is not a mirical cure for your appliance if there is an actual fault. It is more of a preventative cure than a cure once bad results begin to show. It might help in some of the situations mentioned above but it's very unlikely. Usually we would repair a customer's appliance then use this product to deep clean the machine afterwards. Hope this helps.

Works as described, but descaling a kettle with simple acetic acid (white vinegar) seems to be far more effective for me

This stuff really gets rid of smells!!!

The media could not be loaded. The instructions were clear and it did a great job of removing the tough and stubborn grime around the drum. I’d recommend running the cycle and then wiping around the rubber rim to get the loosened grime. I also ran the machine at 90 degrees instead of 60 like it states in the instructions and I feel like it worked better at cleaning. Will definitely purchase again if I need to deep clean the machine. Would be 5 stars if it was a bit cheaper or if it had 3 bottles in the packaging.
