My Mom purchased this product via her ‘Amazon India’ account, utilizing ‘Amazon Fresh’ services in May 2023.Manufactured by brand “Hershey’s” under its ‘Kisses’ range of products, this variant is "Special Dark 'n' Almonds".The list of ingredients mentions cocoa solids (28.8%), almond bits (11%), milk solids (7.2%), and artificial flavouring substance (vanilla) among other ingredients.The ‘Kisses’ are individually-wrapped. The total number of ‘Kisses’ received is 24 approximately. The bag the ‘Kisses’ are packed inside of is resealable.The ‘Kisses’ are packed inside of shiny foil paper. They are easy to unwrap.Upon taste, the ‘bite’ and flavour of almonds are experienced instantly. It seems as if the almonds have not been overly processed. Their ‘skin’ is apparently left on, thereby making one feel their ‘natural’ flavour.The chocolate itself serves as a coating more than anything else. The ‘Special Dark’ flavour I have experienced in ‘Kisses’ and bar format: manufactured by the brand overseas, is not present in these ‘Kisses’.The chocolate cannot be described as bitter, semi-sweet, bittersweet, or plain in terms of flavour. It has no ‘fruity’ undertones to it either. It is, unfortunately, ‘bland’.The almonds make up for the absence of chocolate flavour, to an extent.The quantity of ‘Kisses’ received is substantial. The packaging enables convenience in terms of portion control, storage, and sharing with family and friends.The ‘Kisses’ must be refrigerated (not frozen solid) prior to consumption.Overall, it is left to one’s discretion when considering the purchase of this product.
