When i tell u this is the best up grade to my car! Omg! It looks dayum good also my good friend does amazing installs on radios ect! It looks good sounds amazing! Sounds better than the original OEM! My friend He took his time to install it correctly i see a lot of negative reviews that’s because individuals are trying to do the install this product there selves & it’s not working properly this upgrade makes my car look like a 2020 2022 inside the newer Mercedes Benz have this same screen in them so yes so far so good if i run across any issues i will do another review on this product hopefully it last me for some years lbvs because the price on this item was far from cheap! lol

Installed on 11.14.2023, the 2017 Mercedes Benz C300 has the following observations:1. The instructional video is subpar; you may need to refer to multiple YouTube videos to understand the installation process. It is recommended that Road Top improves their instructional video.2. The screen quality falls short of the original.3. It's challenging to fit the harness behind the AC, preventing the AC from staying securely in place; as a result, it's left loose.4. The system demonstrates impressive speed and responsiveness.5. The Android Play Store offers useful apps, such as an IPTV with 11,000 channels, YouTube, Spotify, and many games, enhancing the road trip experience.I haven't used a 4G SIM yet but I will update my review.Overall I’m happy with my purchase.

I will recommend this product to anyone, installation was easy. I run into my NTG5.1 not accepting the audio box, the seller provided the most excellent customer service I have recieved in years. He even shipped me a new USB audio converter via express shipping and free. I am well pleased with the product, it has given my 2016 C300 a new life and look. I have fallen in love with my car again. I love the features, the sound from this combined with the factory amp sounds better. I can stop raving about this. It is money well spent. I upgraded other stuff in the car because once I upgraded the screen, I couldn't stop.

Only had it Installed for 2 days so far. Used it on road trip 08/01/2023; I’ll add pictures and update as I use the unit. Overall, love the look of the 12” screen maybe a tad big. Would prefer smaller bezel. Screen brightness was fine in the summer sun. Below are my first impressions and complaints.First rant: the instructions are horrible! The youtube video skips steps and doesn’t clearly show everything that’s needed for installation. Search for a video on proper glove box removal.To remove the center speaker cover you use a wedge tool supplied with the unit and pry it up, its only clipped into foam, but don’t go to rough on any one side, work it up evenly. Note: they include most tools needed for job so that was a plus. Second, when your removing the factory screen the T20 screws don’t remove completely. They stay on the screen and once fully retracted the screen slides out with them attached to screen. You have to remove those screws and use them for new mount without breaking the hooks that hold the screws on the factory screen. It would be nice if they included new screws with the screws.As far as apple Carplay goes it synced with my iPhone; however, Waze maps was a tad laggy, music sounded ok, mild degradation in audio quality with the screen driven audio over factory sound. I haven’t gotten to far in all the features. I found the little widget that is on the screen annoying, it keeps telling me to mind my speed. And causing audio cutout. I had a song getting choppy, but I attributed that to poor cell reception for Apple Music. Another thing that annoyed is that it always beings up the car’s agility mode when first starting (not the last screen; like my satellite radio). Phone conversations is odd. It uses my factory bluetooth for calls then I had to manually change the audio back to the screen audio.I haven’t been able to get the sim activated yet.More updates to come. So far, fairly happy with the purchase.

So i decided to upgrade my new car with this new upgraded screen. Unfortunately I came across too many problems, and Im actually a pretty techy guy.Customer service is ok, the time zone makes it a slow conversation back and forward.I will start adding below the problems i have:- The speedometer on the screen is almost 15% off compared to my speedometer on my car. My phone GPS speed matches my car speedometer. Troubleshooting.- GPS wont work 30% of the time, and i placed it correctly where i was told. Troubleshooting.- Audio USB doesn't sync sometimes, i have to disconnect and reconnect USB. Troubleshooting. This was a car problem not screen problem- The factory setting are difficult to understand and they couldn't provide a guide for it. I believe the problem in the settings is, the Chinese to English translation.If i find solutions or more problems i will update review.It had tons of features, too many to explain.

If you’re looking to catch up your Mercedes with more recent technology, this is the move. The head unit’s operating system is an android phone so options are pretty much endless. You can download pretty much any app as if it were a phone. works well with Apple products as well.Pro Tip: When installing follow the instructions closely with the optic cable.

The system had a different phones information in it. Tried reaching out to the seller but got no response. Will try again.Netflix or any movie plays dark. Even with the brightness turned to 100%. The screen also has a glare when watching a movie also
